Martin Dodd for UK Productions in association with Blackpool Grand Theatre presents a brand-new spectacular Pantomime for all the family…Beauty and the Beast.

The story of Beauty and The Beast is a tale as old as time in a far-off land of two very different kingdoms.

In Beauty and The Beast, Belle is dreaming of a happier life but finds herself transported to a cursed castle. Held imprisoned by a hideous beast, the castle is full of magical characters placed under a spell by an evil enchantress.

Can Belle see beyond the beast and fall in love with her captor before the last petal falls from the enchanted rose? Will the Beast’s selfishness cost him the world he once knew and the hand of the girl who has melted his heart? Featuring sumptuous costumes, magnificent scenery and the unmissable and magical transformation moment, it’s a pantomime not to be missed.

If The Beast cannot find true love then he will die when the last petal falls from the rose.

Beauty and The Beast is at Blackpool Grand Theatre Friday, 7 December 2018 to Sunday, 6 January 2019.

Performed by The Russian State Ballet of Siberia and accompanied by a live orchestra, The Russian State Ballet Orchestra. Russia’s acclaimed ballet company returns to the UK for 2019 Tour with Cinderella.

The world’s favourite rags to riches fairy-tale where dreams can come true is a magical mix of Prokofiev’s energetic score, lively choreography and colourful costumes. Whilst her mad/bad stepmother and her ill-mannered daughters prepare for the Royal Ball, graceful Cinderella can only dream of dancing with the dashing Prince. Later that evening, her rags become a glittering gown and she is swept magically to the Ball. From that very moment the Prince is smitten, midnight strikes and one lost crystal slipper later, he must now embark on a journey to find his lost love….

This magical modern classic will delight the whole family.

Formed in 1981, the Russian State Ballet of Siberia has quickly established itself as one of Russia’s leading ballet companies and has built an international reputation for delivering performances of outstanding quality and unusual depth. The soloists and corps de ballet are superb, and never fail to delight audiences with their breathtaking physical ability and dazzling costumes.
